Hand Stripping
How it's supposed to be done
Hand Stripping is a traditional technique used on wire coated Terriers, Spaniels and some Gun Dogs etc. It involves stripping out the excess coat by hand. Using this technique means your dogs coat usually will be healthier, shinier and it will be stripped to breed standard. Some breeds we regularly strip in the salon are: Border Terrier, Fox Terrier, Lakeland Terrier, Jack Russell, Wire Hair Dachshund, Italian Spinone, Hungarian Wire Haired Vizsla, Cocker Spaniel, Irish Red Setter, Gordon Setter etc.
DESHEDDING
Reduce Shedding at home by up to 70%
De-Shedding treatments can be done on any shedding double coated or smooth coated dog. We will remove the loose shedding hair using a variety of suitable tools. Followed by a bath and blow dry to keep the coat healthy, strong and most importantly, keep your dog happy.
Long Coated breeds such as Newfoundland, Long Hair German Shepherd, Great Pyranese, Samoyed etc. all have the option to have a scissor trim of the chest, tummy, legs and bum area to keep them nice and tidy.

All of our short/smooth hair de-sheds also include a de-shedding Mud Bath too! We massage the mud, enriched with vitamins and minerals, into your dogs coat for 10-15 minutes to help remove loose hair and nourish your dogs coat and skin.

Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or behaviour, each of our services can be curated to fit their specific needs — no matter how unique. Our Full Groom service is our most popular service and we usually suggest a regular grooming schedule anywhere between 4-8 weeks depending on your dogs coat type.
Whether you're looking for a designer Teddy Bear cut, an easy home maintenance trim, breed standard groom or an Asian Fusion inspired cut we have you covered! We can accept all breeds and cross breeds into our salon, and are experienced with managing all different coat types. Our most popular request is for fluffy Teddy Bear trims, but we can create any style as long as it's suitable to your dogs coat type, their behaviour and coat condition.
